Grout Film includes a standard non-linear editor (NLE) timeline with traditional V1/A1 track editing β€” so editing works the way you'd expect from any video editor.

The tracks

  • V1 β€” your video track, for clips and generated video.
  • A1 β€” your audio track, for sound and voiceover.

Core editing actions

  • Cutting β€” split a clip into separate pieces.
  • Trimming β€” shorten or extend a clip's in and out points.
  • Arranging β€” move clips along the timeline to set their order and timing.

How to edit

  1. Drag clips from the media bin onto the V1 track.
  2. Cut and trim to keep the parts you want.
  3. Arrange clips into the right order.
  4. Add audio or voiceover on the A1 track.
